The Panthers with the best goalie in the league and all the other important players and franchise assets make them a number one contender. The fans of every other team can't deny that. Their problem is with the dirty rat antics of the Panthers players that is heavily untouchable with help from the leagues disciplinary committee The Department of Player Safety. The other teams players are having a revenge year against the Panthers already it seems. And I don't see the revenge slowing down anytime soon either. This is the result of a franchise being in with the old boys club in charge of policing the league.

My family moved to South Florida in '06 and became true Panthers fan in '08. The Panthers were so bad, that tickets were as low as $7, and the arena would still be empty. I'm so proud of how far this team has come. No one was crying "tax free state" when we were potentially going to be moved.

I don’t want to believe the sport is rigged, but what choice do I have? Niko Mikkola continued playing after an ejection. That’s an AUTOMATIC 10 game suspension. And he got nothing. Also, it’s not because they’re “just better” because that doesn’t explain why everybody has hated Boston for the past 10 years. People hate VEGAS because they win.

While yes people mainly dont like Florida because they win its also because people can sign there cheaper because of the no state tax that Marchand even admitted was the reason everyone stayed signed there. Also their histroy of injurying the other team with next to no consequences

My fandom has switched over the years. Back in the 90's, my early years, I was a Devils fan. I played hockey and loved defensive side of the game and hard hits and the Devils really delivered. I was really happy in the mid 90's.
These days I am a fan of Florida. I always liked the team but really became a fan once Barkov was drafted. I liked Barkov's play already back in Finland. I still like good defense and Panthers are really good at that.
I get why some people hate the Panthers but it's not like they do something other teams don't also do. They just happen to be better at it than most teams and they are successful which is what makes the haters go after them. People don't care about teams playing on the edge and sometimes crossing it if the team sucks but it really annoys people if that team is really good.
It’s not Florida’s fault that the state has a budgetary surplus of Billions of dollars every fiscal year, and don’t need to collect state taxes. Maybe your state sucks. You can’t have free healthcare and Stanley Cup champions. Pick one.

I hate Sam Bennett because he actually does break the rules and the league refuses to punish him. 90% of my criticisms from the Panthers all boil down to Sam Bennett where the other 10% is targeted towards the department of player safety refusing to punish him. He needs to get thrown out of the league.

I see the hate difference between the Panthers, Dodgers and the Chiefs cause those teams dominate their respective sport the past four/five seasons which will get hate. The difference is the Panthers imo are likable due to the fact that teams are trying to duplicate their playstyle (it’s hockey for god sakes, fans keep saying they play dirty, hockey is a dirty sport period cause they’re fights involved, if you don’t like it, then hockey ain’t the sport for you). Also the only teams that hate the Panthers are obviously the Oilers who lost twice to them in the SCF, the Boston Bruins cause the Panthers made history in 2023, upset the Bruins who won the Presidents Trophy that season and retired Patrice Bergeron, and Brad Marchand is with the team and won a chip last season and might win another one? The Maple Leafs who had the Panthers on the ropes but failed, and obviously the Lightning (the sibling rivalry of course and the state of Florida ties), imo if it wasn’t for the Lightning, the Panthers wouldn’t became who they are right now, champions. The Panthers got a whole lot better after being eliminated by the Lightning in 2021 and 2022, that’s when the franchise completely changed when they traded their best scorer in Jonathan Huberdeau for a physical type player in Matthew Tkachuk and the rest is history. Made it to the SCF three straight seasons (lost to the Golden Knights in 2023, won two straight the next seasons), so that throws the hate out of the window. The LA Dodgers are basically the NY Yankees in the 2000s era, but the only difference is they’re consistent in winning and good at developing their farm system and spending money and trading for the right players which piss off all the MLB teams and fans outside of LA (Dodgers won in 2020 and 2024, the Yankees haven’t won since 2009, wasting money on players that didn’t produce enough in winning. Made it to the WS in 2024 but of course, they lost to the Dodgers, the better team and of course Aaron Boone stupid decision to put in Nestor Cortes, the starting pitcher who’s not the same from injury as a relief pitcher, and gave up a grand slam to Freddie Freeman in game 1 or 2, can’t remember and I don’t want to know LOL. They lost in five games.), so there’s a reason why the Dodgers are hated, but you can’t do anything about it unless you beat them. The KC Chiefs however, I remember them with Alex Smith as the QB, likable. Also the early years of Patrick Mahomes, lost the AFC championship game to Tom Brady and the Patriots, lost in the SB to who else? Tom Brady this time with the Buccaneers. Then won two SBs against the Niners and Eagles, imo the Chiefs weren’t hated by then. When Taylor Swift got involved with the team dating Travis Kelce and they’re now married, that’s when the hate started to flow with the Chiefs, they’re immediately became John Cena of the NFL, Cena was loved when he had the rap gimmick, then Cena became the face of the company, had to get rid of the rap gimmick to become Hulk Hogan, Cena became a controversial face of the company which was worded by Jim Ross, kids love him, but the diehard wrestling fans which is basically grown males hated him. It’s the same trend with the Chiefs unfortunately, it’s a combination of hate, annoyance (The NFL kissing up to Taylor Swift, her crazy fans), anger outside of Kansas City. The refs help the Chiefs to win, it’s not from me tho LOL, I keep hearing those rumors, also how the Chiefs win is basically how John Cena wins matches, with his five moves of doom and burying wrestlers, again it’s not from me, it’s from the internet and wrestling fans who hate Cena. LOL CENA WINS, to LOL CHIEFS WIN! I also want to throw this out, the Patriots with Tom Brady, they were hated, but they do their talking on the field and ignore the news outlets outside the sports world crap that stirs things up, they even don’t want to talk about the Aaron Hernandez situation which basically the Chris Benoit of the NFL, and of course when Tom Brady left for the Bucs, the hate was gone and garnered by respect. And I’m a Dolphins fan saying this about the Patriots. The Bulls with MJ and Pippen, fans outside of Chicago loved them cause they had swag and coolness. I could say the same for the NY Yankees in the late 90s, they were on the same dynasty run like the Chicago Bulls, the 90s was awesome! I’m on fire with this topic LOL, the Miami Heat when LeBron James took his talents here, the Heat became hated, cause of LeBron’s arrogance and self-proclaimed himself as the GOAT which piss fans off and when he left the Cavs for the Heat, the hate got a whole lot worse (check out his return game against the Cavs in 2011, lots of police presence there cause fans wanted to hurt LeBron.)
