  1. @16:35 about Sid Playing in Montreal, here’s my vision:
If he leaves the Pens, he will play for Colorado with his buddy from NS.
If he leaves Pittsburgh, he will go for a team that can win a Stanley Cup.
Peace to all of you Hockey Fans.

  2. Wiesbat threw Cowan to the net. Kyper called him a rat.

But isn' t it bit hilarious that Kyper was exactly that kind of player himself? He was a 4th line rat during his whole career on NHL.

    A rat knows another rat.

  3. Habs have a lot of potential but so did Buffalo, Columbus etc etc…who knows how it will work out. Can't really complain yet though.

  4. Good to have you guys back. I love the autumn. Hockey, football, postseason baseball. Good times! Basketball too.

  5. Guys have you ever considered the possibility that maybe Sid WANTS to stay in Pittsburgh? To Kypers point, maybe Sid resigning last year when he could’ve went somewhere else is the all evidence we need that he cares about legacy more than yinz are letting on, but not legacy for the HABS sweater Sammy lmao, legacy for the team he’s been with for over two decades now and with yzerman being his idol growing up, maybe sticking with one team his whole career is a defining factor for Syd.

Sorry bois but as a Pittsburgher born and raised, this conversation get tiresome when all Crosby has done in regards to his thoughts on this situation is that he wants to stay a penguin. Ofc he wants to win but the guy has 3 cups, Olympic gold, a plethora of individual awards and a bunch of connections with the fans, his teammates and the city of Pittsburgh, that risking going to another team and likely losing in the playoffs (Marchand is the exception not the rule) is not worth risking. Just a thought next time. Idc that you guys have the conversation it’s fine to talk about but at least give the other side to the argument a legitimate defense, and that side is the one that mostly aligns with reality given all the evidence we have, and that is that Sid wants to finish his career a penguin. But love the show keep up the great work.

  6. Wow just left a comment on another video with Lavoie… Here he is again spreading the same Matheson / Crosby crap. Stop giving him the mic. Oh and they turned off the comment section on the other (JiC) video.

  7. There better then the Leafs also I love how he says they stunk … lmao Toronto is a regular season team and are always absent in the playoffs 😂 1967 gonna be like that for another 25 years lol

  8. So obvious that the Habs window for Cup runs is opening for a long time, the Leafs window is closing…it hard to digest for Leafs fans we get it. Habs fans should be nice to leaf fans, they will need emotional support. Buy them a Molson product at the bar once in a while. 😊

  9. Let's all petition Rogers to sponsor Transit vehicles especially MiWay to wrap their buses with Blue Jays logo and colors. Seen an A.I. that looked so good. I have information to suggest MiWay is willing if the wrap ad is paid for it. What the ad could be related to? SportsNet, Rogers Mobility, your show, etc.

  10. I think Crosby re-signed because he did not see any potential landing spots in that moment that met his preferred preference that, and this is a big thing, had the ability to take on his contract. There are currently many contenders for the cup but most if not all of the top teams that he would want to go to can afford him. Montreal is an upcoming crap shoot but the stars are aligning.

  11. Leafs are the HEAVIEST team in the NHL based on average team weight! They obviously do not play BIG but probably why analysts are calling the team slow. I think Phil Kessel may be catering the team meals 😅

  12. So at 1:15, you guys are saying that the leaf have on of the best defense. I just dont see it. Feels like the puck moving ability just aint there. Hell, the habs top 4 would all be the leafs best defense. Am I wrong?

  13. Is this the definition of hypocrisy?
Looking for a reaction over hit on Cowan into the net?
    1. was it intentional to bump Cowan into the net? It looked like shoulder to shoulder, thus a legal hit. Unfortunately, Cowan fell into the net. Possibly known that is where the hit would go. Tanev did go to the player. If I was hit, I would want to take care of it myself and if I can't, take the licking as a man. As it was said to me when I played, this is a man's sport. If you can't take it, stay out. That's why they get paid as much.
    2. You want someone to make a presence. So you want the Leaf to take an unsportsman like penalty? Then will that player Possibly face suspension? A fine out of their own pocket? Why should I paid any price to protect someone else?
    3. Remember Reeves? I think Reeves turning point was his hit on Draisaitl. Where Reeves was chewed out for what he felt (as I do) was a legal hit. Then players don't want to be used just to be physical.

  14. Id argue that the Habs have a deeper modern core that could last years like the leafs. A playoff team but soft and struggles to make any finals appearances. Hope I'm wrong and it's just a leafs thing

  15. Totally right, Kyper, about the Wiseblatt hit. The lack of response was bad. McCabe, Domi, Joshua or Roy, either at the time or the next time he was on the ice, should have made a statement and sent a message.

  16. Long rebuild???? They made the finals just a few years ago. Leafs fan commentating on Habs is hilarious

  17. Renaud Lavoie represent everything wrong with the Montreal hockey media. No one likes him here in Quebec.

  18. Montreal is the Mecca and the home of hockey!
The Habs will be a dominant force in the league for the next 10 years!
