Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens Rack Up 150 PIM in Quebec City



September 30, 2025: Referees Pierre Lambert and Eric Furlatt nearly had to break out the riot pads for a preseason game between the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators in Quebec City on Tuesday night. 

The two clubs combined for 150 minutes in penalties in a hard-fought game that saw five players ejected. Ottawa picked up 100 penalty minutes, led by Zack MacEwen (21), Jan Jenik (20), Donovan Sebrango (17) and Hayden Hodgson (17). Montreal earned 50 penalty minutes, with Arber Xhekaj (21) and Jayden Struble (15) leading the way.

  1. Can't wait to see how many coward Senators don't dress for the next game. Stutzle and Sloth might not come out of hiding for regular season games either.

  2. The Sens will beat the shit out of tiny Caufield and mini Hutson, Suzuki, and Demidov. Go ahead take out Timmy, they'll take out the Habs stars too. Can't wait for the Sens to make the playoffs again and for the Habs to take a step back. The Habs are weak down the middle, have poor goaltending and a weak defense.
