  1. Like Robertson, wishful thinking or poor scouting – both good prospects that showed signs of not living up to expectations and held too long to trade for anything of value.

  2. No, after this past season this team is off to a brand new chapter. Will we make the playoffs? I don't see why not, will the team make it to the Stanley Cup? They may but for the first year with new faces and coach i say no. Last seasons crap is behind us and this season is the Rangers 100th anniversary and a new beginning. LGR

  3. Disappointed that Othman is back in Hartford. Was hoping he would be paired with Perrault on the 3rd line Put Laba between them. I just don’t see Radysh adding any more value.

  4. Apologies to all for the audio/video in this one. Pretty sure I know what happened and don’t think it will be an issue going forward

  5. My opinion / observation is: Otter will eventually be a full time NHL Player.

I feel like part of Otter's problem is he's overly confident and always talking about how he knows he's an NHL Player and will be in the NHL.

It comes across as cocky. I love that he's confident. But would prefer he stay humble and just continue working on his game. Enough of the yapping.

The other thing, the most important aspect here ( and we were talking about this last training camp and regarding his play in Hartford) : I think Sully nailed it. Otter's game in previous leagues is not translating for the NHL level game.

While Otter has played physical, nasty hockey in Hartford: he's also often been floating around a lot and waiting for a one timer sniper shot, or rebound.

Often, not being active in the offensive zone, and negligent in the neutral and defensive zones.

So, they have him working on changing his game, evolving and adapting to become a NHL full 200 ft. player.

It will take a little more time. But not as long as some may think.

There's a thing line between strong confidence and arrogance.

Otter is still young. He'll mature.
