Oskar Bäck’s Looming Return, Thomas Harley On The Power Play | Spits & Suds

After wins in Winnipeg and Colorado, David Castillo of D Magazine joins Gavin Spittle to give his thoughts on the start, as well as a look ahead to the home opener against Minnesota. David dives into what the Stars need to improve, the play of Mikko Rantanen, the Thomas Harley and Nils Lundkvist pairing as well as some players that are off to slower starts. When Oskar Bäck returns, does he crack the lineup, and if so, who is the odd man out? The guys discuss Thomas Harley as the Power Play 1 Defenseman and what is a fair number to sign Harley with Montreal blueliner Lane Hudson agreeing to a new 8-year deal. Lots to take in on this edition of Spits and Suds with David Castillo.

  1. I think David is underestimating how hard it is to adapt to a new defensive system, veterans or not, after three seasons of playing a certain way.
