Tons of delusional NY Ranger fans are crying in their coffee today. Delusional because they actually thought that 2 of the top upcoming free agents might sign with the Rangers? You're a topflight player & want to sign with an organization that is totally dysfunctional from top to bottom. Live & play in the NYC area so I can be taxed up the wazoo & take my life into my hands every time I leave my home because of the crime & political atmosphere of the area. Oh & I want my family exposed to this too! PLEASE!!! By the way I am a Rangers fan.

Every time I watch a segment with Elliotte Friedman, I feel a little bit smarter about the NHL. Thanks Elliotte. With the cap rising, I feel like a lot of players are saying to themselves, why move? Why start all over with a new team? Why deal with a new coach and system? If we are making progress and winning…I'll take less. I think this summer in free agency will be VERY quiet.
