  1. If Price's contract does get moved it will be nearer mid-season when teams start getting into full tank mode.
Don't forget Dach will be on LTIR before the second month of the season is done.

  2. Price’s contract is an ASSET. One thing is for sure: Kent Hughes manages assets better than 90% of NHL GMs. I am 100% confident that the outcome will be the most efficient and best timed deal possible. Relax.

  3. Why doesn't Carey Price just RETIRE !! ??
THE GUY .. SIGNED AN $87 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT …Was just given $5.5 Million …!!!
How much MONEY does he need !?? He must know that the Habs are struggling through cap he'll…and yet …he continues to hold the team ransom by staying " active" just to collect ANOTHER 2 MILLION !!??!!?? TOO MUCH ..!! GREED IS A TOUGH TASK MASTER ..!! GIVE IT UP CAREY ..!! THIS ORGANIZATION HAS MADE YOU EXTREMELY WEALTHY AND YET YOU CAN'T FIND A WAY TO HELP THEM OUT .!!??? PATHETIC !!

  4. There's absolutely no way that the Habs management isn't calculating the bonus scenario. Likely more important then the pie in the sky "2nd line panacea. "

  5. What if someone has a bad 1-2 year contract that they want to get rid of? Maybe it’s possible to swap it for CP?

  6. That opening jingle is so much better than some other popular Habs podcasts (I won't name names lol)
    Short & sweet!

  7. Another benefit of not trading Price is that it would be cool seeing him have his entire career with Le Sainte Flanelle.

    Go Habs Go!🎉

  8. Teams for a lot of room could take a lot of other bad contracts but the appeal of Price is the one year left and the actual money vs cap hit. The last part only has value if some owner wants to save money. For San Jose, taking Price would be a way to allow them to trade some others UFAs off their team in season without worrying about dipping under the cap
