  1. Guys it’s really not that bad. Take a look and rewind to 2024 Nick Leddy, that was painful. Mailloux will good in the future no doubt.

  2. Mailloux has been fine the past couple of games. He has elite offensive skills but is concentrating on defense. In A couple of years he's going to be a stud. What do you people complaining about him want. I bet these are the same people who last year were having fits about Bolduc not progressing the first couple of months. He didn't take off until after Montgomery took over. Calm down. Drama. Drama…..Drama…..

  3. Pick up the phone call Ryan Suter bring him back rotate him with Tucker play Suter and Milleux together. Play Tucker with Kessel. Problem solved.

  4. Why are you freaking out on the kid? He has 3 games with the Blues, and less than 20 total in the NHL. He’s got skills, and he doesn’t shy away from the physical play. Anyone who didn’t know there would be a learning curve is delusional. Plus, D-men take a little longer to develop than forwards do, a known general fact. Listen, Chris Pronger was a phenomenal player, but I remember when Brendan Shanahan was traded to the Hartford Whalers for a young, mostly unknown defenseman; Prongs. It looked like a horrible trade for a while, he looked pretty rough. Point is, cut the kid a some slack, he’s gonna be okay.

  5. Stop thinking that Mailloux is going to have the kind of impact that Broberg brought last season and now right away. You also cannot compare a defenseman with a winger. It's only been three games. Pump the brakes here.

  6. He will be fine. What has he played, 11 games in the NHL. Everybody needs to chill out. In 3 years I will look at this trade.

  7. they said the same stuff about pronger when he came over and he turned out ok,not saying he is pronger but people need to let up on a kid who has no time in yet, most of the comments are coming from montreal fans, anyone that cannot see the big picture is not a hockey person and that goes out to anyone..

  8. He really didn’t have much NHL experience. It reminds me a little bit of the Chris Pronger for Brendan Shanahan trade. Shanahan was an established high end scorer, and Pronger had unrealistic expectations to live up to. Eventually Pronger showed he was all that. Not saying Mailloux is the next Pronger, but he’ll be a really good defenseman for a lot of years.

  9. This kid has only played in 3 games, save the drama Mark. I’m going to unsubscribe from this nonsense

  10. I remember a young defenseman that struggled bad after being traded for a guy named Brendan Shanahan that defenseman became a Hall of Famer. Give this kid a break people his career hasn't even started yet

  11. The Blues traded Bolduc for Mailloux because they chose Snuggerud over Bolduc and they needed help on the right side of defense. I believe the Blues made the right choice on which player to keep. Defensemen usually take longer to develop than wingers. Look back at the trade in 2 or 3 years to determine if it was a good trade for the Blues.

  12. Get real. He played decent against Vancouver. Let him get his feet under him defensively, then he can look to get the offense going. He's not playing against Bolduc, and playing D is a lot harder than wing.
