So what was the explanation of it? I never heard a whistle, and the puck was clearly over the line on multiple angles. This entire season has been one long joke in the officiating department.
there was nothing inconclusive about whether it crossed the line or not the issue is when was the play called dead? Looks to me like play was blown dead clearly after it went over the line but ref did not see the puck, he saw the blade of the stick which blocked the view of the puck from his anhle. That's why we have instant replay. That should have been overturned and been a goal. I'm a rangers fan from way back and I remember when montreal walked on water and couldn't figure out how to lose a game if they tried. Thank God the nhl has become more competitive over the decades. Back in the day you checked off games against montreal on the schedule as automatic losses and that was your starting point.
Should have been a goal the first time but good job to not reverse it on the replay as it looked like play was stopped or at least dead in the head before the goal scored. There's not clear and obvious evidence against the call on the ice.

i think it was a no goal because since the net came up off the pegs abit before the puck cross the line
Talking about one sided refs…..
That was in they need to check over head that last clip they showed there was ice in between the puck and goal 🥅 line so it’s a goal that’s bs
1:29?
1:04 it's in…
