As a leafs fan we had chances we need to play better like come on guys 40 shots and we only score 2 goals not good enough and our star players need to show up come on leafs Matty knows has been pretty good Easton cowman played alright our defence got to move the puck quicker

Keeper was hot in Talbot , boys had looks couldn’t capitalize, guys are finding their gears , 82 game schedule, new players in the liner , teams going to find their chemistry and be next level
The Leafs looked slow tonight. Can’t see this team making the playoffs.
Is it just me, but why is Knies the only one sticking up for someone getting hit? 34 just standing there. 88 standing there, wow, where are all the leaders.
The leaders of this are consistently downplaying these terrible results. Every time they lose, they act like everything is completely fine, even smiling in interviews after the game. Can someone take accountability and show they care? Can they be pissed after a loss and come back with a mean attitude?
I get keeping the team morale high, but as a fan, I would love to see the players show that they're just as annoyed by this as we are.
I hope they keep Cowan on the first line. He's a great fit.

Regular season doesn't matter. It's the playoffs that count. They could lose all 82 regular season games for all I care. Wake me when they get out of the second round of the playoffs.
Reimer would have shut them out like Talbot.
Stolarz is too slow for the side to side pass goals which he let in.
He's good for penalty shootouts or shots below his shoulders coz of his size.
The Wings saw his weakness and nailed the Leafs.
I would have played Reimer after 2nd goal of game 1.
