7:04 I hadn't noticed how blessed the Habs were with their early-season schedule. 7 of their next 8 games are against teams who didn't make the playoffs last year. This is the perfect scenario for a team to start the season.

Ok, now what? Dobes is looking like a number one tender, Monty is still viable, but what about Fowler? I believe Fowler has huge potential to be better than both Monty and Dobes, who goes?
This team looks much better than last year's version. Their play is tighter and ,most importantly, they are still having fun. There will be tough spots ahead, but the rebuild is still well on track.

Is it too early in the season for Marty to be thinking some serious line-up changes? Personally I think 'NO'. The top line of Cole, Nick & Slav is still the Habs Top Line , at least for now , no change necessary. Bolduc and Gallie are great , Dach not so much – time to put Evans in between these two and see what happens. Newie, Kap & Demi are on the verge of become this team's Next Best Thing since 'Slice Bread' – keep them as an alt. 2nd line. Anderson, Dach , and Laine are 'spares' at best here , call them the team's other 3rd line , if that is what it takes just to make them happy. Guhle & Dobson are this team's Top D-Pairing , nothing more needs to be said about that. That said , Arber needs to be paired with Lane , and Matheson paired with Carrier (line pair distinction is only something for the media to worry about). Every team needs a good defensive D to cover the butt of a good offensive D , every good coach should know that. Go HABs.
