No one bought Novak to life, as you say, soft perimeter player who bring's nothing to the table and should be sent down when Rust and McGroarty are healthy
Its obviously early and who knows what will happen, but Muse really has these guys playing for the time being. That was one of the best all around games I've seen them play in a while.
It's pretty obvious that Tanger is already having much more fun this year. There's still a lot of moments that he looks kinda done, but this is the first time he has looked full of life in certain moments in years.
I listened to the game and Phil bourque directly called out novaks weak play and decission making on twp of the goals. I was one of those who advocated for hallander over tomasino and novak. When rust comes back, they can put villie with kindell and hallander and have a great kids line full of skill and will.
Dan, I'm out of the area and missing the live games so I REALLY enjoy your recaps. You have a sharp perspective and provide an insightful but balanced overview of this work in progress. You're my 'go-to-guy' for a fair analysis after each night's game. Thanks, keep up the good work.
I didn’t catch the beginning of the game or check the lineup but when I saw the islanders up by 1 I assumed Jarry was in goal. As the game went on though I respect Muse’s decision to put Jarry in. He needed that.

Koivonen is struggling so far
This video of Dan Kingerski reminds me of Phil Conners in the movie Groundhog Day.

It’s been 2 games but I’m really liking muse’s pens so far

Enjoyed seeing the alternative Jersey 1984-85 style I think… Powerplay was on fire!
Cannot get enough of the big line. Lean on em boys.
Dan has the very best perspective and the best program out there covering the Penguins! Enjoy your show Dan! Keep up the honesty and unbiased reports!

Well bless my stars Jarry had a .921 save percentage!!
It seems like Muse has unlocked EK65
Dan, what do you think the lines are going to look like when Rust and Rutger come back?

Hallander had an assist on Brunicke's goal. I guess that's not much.
