Blue Bloods Spinoff ‘Boston Blue’ Recasts Sean Reagan | Mika Amonsen Joins Donnie Wahlberg

🔵 Big casting shakeup in the Blue Bloods universe!

CBS has officially recast the role of Sean Reagan for the upcoming spinoff series Boston Blue, replacing longtime actor Andrew Terraciano with rising star Mika Amonsen.

Returning to lead the new series is Donnie Wahlberg, reprising his role as Danny Reagan, who now works with the Boston PD.
The show will explore new family dynamics, law enforcement tensions, and the next generation of Reagans — alongside the powerful Silver family, played by Sonequa Martin-Green, Ernie Hudson, Maggie Lawson, Gloria Reuben, and Marcus Scribner.

📺 Boston Blue premieres this fall Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. Will you be watching?

  1. I hate it when shows do that. This guy played the role for 14 years and suddenly the role gets taken away for what, an older, prettier, and more chiseled guy? That’s messed up. They could’ve had big boy Andrew Terracino go on a fitness program or something. So messed up when they recast like that out of nowhere.

  2. I was looking forward to this. But after what cbs, paramount did to Colbert, I'm going to pass on CBS

  3. Well that's the beginning of the end of the new Blue bloods old viewers will not watch number one mistake when you change actors does anybody remember the second Darren in Bewitched

  4. Sean should no interest in being a cop. Hire a Canadian actor to play, the show is hiding Mika, because, Blu Blood fans, will not buy Mika as Sean.
