The San Jose Sharks are shaking things up with Michael Misa’s NHL debut against the Carolina Hurricanes. Will the second overall draft pick make an impact in his first game?
Forward lines see a major reshuffle, reuniting William Eklund, Macklin Celebrini, and Tyler Toffoli on the top line. The defensive pairings also face adjustments, with some controversial scratches raising eyebrows. JD Young analyzes these changes, questioning the decision to bench Shakir Mukhamadullin and the apparent lack of veteran accountability.
Down in the AHL, the San Jose Barracuda are making waves. A thrilling 7-6 victory over the Bakersfield Condors showcases the potential of prospects like Quentin Musty and Igor Chernyshov. With Lucas Carlsson and Jack Thompson joining after clearing waivers, the Barracuda’s blue line gets a boost.
Tune in for an in-depth look at the Sharks’ lineup decisions, prospect development, and how these changes might impact their performance against the Hurricanes.

Shirt game is on point
Sitting graf is definitely a choice …
Hopefully Pohlkamp doesn’t play another year in the NCAA
Nice bringing in Misa. Now lets give Dickinson more minutes.
Sitting Muk & Graf while playing Leddy, Klingberg, Reaves, & Goodrow is just stupid to me. I hate that the vets are held to a lower standard than the young players. I am so fed up of the coaches/ GM playing subpar vets over young prospects who are better now & in the future.
Putting Dickinson with Klingberg, is a good idea? Put him in with Ferraro.
Warsofsky does not like younger players beyond Mack. The vets never are held accountable for their actions. He doesn’t know how to develop young players (Smith got better because he played with better players, not because he was brought along slowly)
I’m actually kinda concerned about Warso being so mixed up on his priorities. These veterans are not his friends and they’ll all be gone in a few months.
Honestly I’m done with Warso…..he’s such a hypocrite and makes the most asinine lineup changes
Crying about Mukh like he didn’t have surgery this off season
