I’m deeply concerned with our forward production. It does seems like none of the forwards wanted to score. We only got 1 goal in only … 15 SHOTS!!! I mean what happened to the shot-first mentality for the forwards??? Who gives some Schitz Creek about a perfect play…make a play to get shots on net!!!
Demko gave us chances time and time again throughout the game. It’s so sad Canucks scored only 1 for him.
Special teams tonight was C- … Perfect on the PK but failure on the PP (0/2). Canucks taking penalties definitely played a factor to tonight’s loss.
Petey is quiet again … is anyone down to have his ‘A’ stripped? I thought he’s a goal scorer … isn’t he??? Him just getting points won’t cut it.
Chytil giveaway that led to the Mango-pain 2-0 goal definitely gave us the loss.
Some may say that, “We’re only 2 games in, we’ll win more games down the road.” Ummm … sure, but we need to win games NOW! I give no Schitz Creek!! Everyone on that Canucks team has to WAKE UP!!!
They left Demko high and dry. Shameful performance.
It is good to learn what our weakness is in early season so we can correct those mistakes along the way. First lost is not the end of the world. I believe if ep40 doesn't improve till mid season he is long gone probably package in a trade.
One thing I keep noticing is that EP40 never seems to arrive when needed. He scores in games we are winning but never when it is really needed.
