That was an excellent game last night (Nucks). Fun to watch and see the younger guys do so well. And that brings to mind I can't see why they wouldn't bring Leks and Cootes to play this year. Some of the more established players just don't have the same jump. That along with Garland, wow, what a line that would be.
Lekkerimaki needs to make it and cootes needs at least 9 games

Very team friendly deal for Gustafson I was expecting a 8mil per season another bargain salary for the wild! Crazy to never see him in any top 5 Vezina prediction not saying he will win a Vezina but I think it's just because he's younger and from smaller market without gustavson last season no series! Anyhow glad to see him get paid!

Fabbri being an injury replacement would be the most ironic thing in hockey
I've been saying for awhile that Chicago's forward prospect group is being severely underrated and I think the reason is people only see Bedard and the fact that he came kind of too early on in the rebuild that other players weren't ready alongside him yet. But now seeing the crazy emergence of Nazar, who might be better than we even thought he'd be, and guys like Moore and Dach who have proven they are NHL ready and will be good contributors in many ways. Boisvert is having a great college season and now Frondell and Kantserov are tearing it up in the SHL and KHL respectively. Frondell has the potential to be the best forward from this past draft due to his size, two way game, and he has an insane shot. And then looking at Chicago's blue line depth going forward, a ton of young, big, agile, and puck moving guys who are highly touted. Chicago is gonna run the league once again in a few years.
Jets managed a win with both Perfetti and Demelo getting hurt and the top line getting minimal play ( probably to keep them off the injury list). Hopefully Perfetti isn’t as bad as first thought…already down Lowry and Sanberg, ….think Toews will be ok to start. He knew enough after being off a couple years not to push it. If something feels off….take it slow. Thank god we have a MVP in net!! GO JETS

If Pens decide to tank around the deadline, Graves will be the call up guy to bring them to the McKenna promised land. It's insane how outmatched he looked play by play last season.

Shocked that Graves got waived but can't see another team claiming him due to the cap hit.
Frondell is great and Kantserov is severely overlooked.. both potentially flank Bedards wings going forward… league will need to watch out for the Hawks in a year or 2
