U know ur bad when you had 59 shots and 80 hits in game 6 but still lost blew a 3-0 lead in game 7 and blew a 3-1 lead in the series 😶

Nobody can complain about the refs. They handed Vegas game 2, this was just evening it up. Why is nobody caring about Pavelski’s health?

Well…I gotta tip my hat…well done San Jose fans…that was one hell of a series…I would have preferred if we didn't blow a 3-1 lead but…at least I can say…we didn't end up like the Tampa Bay Lightning…may be cliche but it's true…great job San Jose…that is a series I will remember for sure…good luck in the Second Round…and see you next season…Go Knights Go!!!

Back to the Mickey Mouse days for the NHL! I’m neither a fan of Vegas or the Sharks but this was a game stolen by two referees and apparently one linesman. How/who determined the Eakin crosscheck (to Pavelski’s chest) was even a penalty let alone a 5 minute major?? Replays clearly show neither referee called a penalty on the play. After the injury to Pavelski, the two referees huddled then went to the penalty box where the linesman that dropped the puck joined them in a discussion (that linesman never saw what happened as he had turned away after he dropped the puck). The 2nd linesman who might have seen the play was NEVER talked with prior to the 5 minute major being called!! So who called it? Why was it called? A reaction to an injury? The blood maybe? Apparently the blood was from a previous injury to his mouth which started again after he fell. He hit his head on the ice when he fell awkwardly because of the second contact of a Vegas player, which was incidental and NOT a penalty, it was unlucky, not intentional that he fell like this. This was a farce plain and simple. A phantom and baseless call which took over and changed an entire game. Reactionary major penalty called because of players yelling? Fans yelling? Is that the criteria for major penalties?? Absolutely awful!!!Vegas fans, welcome to Mickey Mouse-ville! Sharks fans, you were given a gift…courtesy of NHL incompetence.
– Arguably THE best series of the opening round( perhaps depending on the outcome of the Caps & Hurricanes ), and perhaps a burgeoning rivalry is developing between these two divisional opponents. Vegas ousted San Jose last year en route to the Cup Final, perhaps it could be the Sharks' turn this time. Plus you had all the exchanges between Reaves on the Golden Knights and Evander Kane and 'Jumbo' Joe on the Sharks during the series. Plus, this Game 7 was way better than Bruins-Leafs Game 7( would rather not discuss that one Lol, of course Bruins fans probably enjoyed it 😉 ).
Well Vegas fans: Welcome to the real NHL where not all the calls by the Refs. always go your way… Have a nice summer and see you next year! Seeing Reeves apologizing to Thornton was good enough for me! 😀

The call was questionable but IMO what really changed this game was the injury. If it had been a minor penalty the Sharks would have scored the one, then had almost 10 minutes to score 2 more. Very possible given how they galvanized around their captain.
Anyway this game was amazing. I’m not even mad that the NHL makes crazy calls if this is the result. As a hockey fan I was in heaven.
How bout them Sharks! Everyone wants to count us out! Tell us the playoffs will just be another early exit, we prove them wrong!!!
