A day late, a day early…Eventually you'll get it right!
Guys I mentioned this in a comment on another video but looking at all the different PK formations diamond is by far the worst cause like you said it gives the team so much time and space to make plays and easily close in on the net and score. The most effective PK strategy the Sens should use is the wedge/triangle +1 it's the most effective it's what the Panthers use. Cause instead of having only 1 player covering the slot in front of the net with the diamond you have 3 players in a triangle in the slot then the extra 4th player is the one who skates out and creates havoc and aggresively tries to forecheck the puck when the other team is perimeter passing. Then when the other team passes let's say to one of their teammates positioned to the side of the net the closest player within that triangle formation is then the one who forechecks while the other skates back to take his spot in the triangle formation. Sens should definitely try this!
