Penguins Postgame: What Pens Did Well, Grading the Rookies in Big Win vs Rangers

  1. If his first game was any indication, Kindel is going to make it very difficult to return him to juniors. Even if he plays well, he may still get sent down, but he’s making a good case to stick with the team.

  2. I watched the game. Nice win. I agree that the Pens just never let the Rangers in. Good overall, but I can see the keys for improvement (that you mentioned). I'll take the 'W', but we can definitely get better. Thanks Dan! Love your insight and analysis! 💕🏒🐧💕

  3. I thought..for 1st game for some…season opener for others…good game all around…#18 NOVAK…MUST GO..he has no passion..no grit..NO THANK YOU

  4. Good to see you again, Dan !…look forward to these after every game…
Excited to see how the year unfolds…will be cheering very hard for this new coaching staff…alot to like about the Pens tonight, many things to clean up, but we deserved the win tonight, we were the better team

  5. McGroarty & Rust will really make this team dangerous. Broz should be here too! Novak and Assucki should hit the road. Kindel may become a star.

  6. ESPN + now unlimited really screwed me this year and my nhl doesn’t renew until the 14th so I sadly didn’t get to watch this beauty.

  7. heh, 0:22 thanks for the shoutout😜it's just the locker room audio that's quiet… Seems like the morale boost of Fleury returning and the younger team energy from all the new player shakeups has created an exciting team to watch again, at least for the start of the season so far…
I often don't think about the coaches but as you pointed out that Sullivan was on the other side of the team making the same mistakes, it may have been a long overdue and much needed change. Looking forward to the home opener tomorrow!
