Its absurd to claim that Drysdale is ready to anchor the future of the defense just because Briere says he looks good in camp … Drysdale has been bad to terrible in every single season and turns 24 this season. If he doesnt take a massive step forward this season he is a clear bust. Looking good in camp doesnt mean much. Twarynski looked good in camp every year. You have to actually perform at a high level in the season for awhile. Drysdale has struggled in every single season … Theres a much bigger chance that hes a bust that isnt a long term piece than he is a long term anchor of the D.
Both are "undersized" . Reluctant to be physical. Vulnerable to committing turnovers. Both were injured for stretches of last year, & as we start this year, York is already on the disabled list
