The Gretzky argument is ridiculous . He played against drunk garbage League defenders for a lot of his career. There’s tapes of him scoring from the Blue line with slap shots. If he has to play today I truly think he would be average at best . He was not big , he was not a great skater. I’m my opinion , Mario Lemieux is the greatest to ever play. If he did not have the back issues and cancer he would have beaten all of Gretzky records . He was that Good
For a faceoff I would pick Sid, but every other situation I would want Lemieux.
