When your home and away jerseys are absolute perfection everything else just looks meh. Also can we please never add black to the red wings or any Detroit team anymore.

Stadium Series at the BIG HOUSE with Chicago Blackhawks, but Chicago wearing a city flag inspired jersey.
I'm a life long Wings fan who went to my first game at the old Olympia Stadium in 1969. My top five are numbers 8, 15, 16, 2, and 3 from your top 20. I don't think they would use 15 or 16 though because they are basically the Maple Leafs jerseys from the early '80's. I like #3 from your top 20 the best because I like the red more than the white. I don't think the Wings should ever use black on their jerseys. The jerseys you are wearing in the video is the only Wings jersey made since the 80's that I haven't bought. In my opinion, which is worth about 2 cents, it's just a Chicago jersey that says Detroit on it. I've got no problem with other people liking it, the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things, but I hope I never see another Wings jersey with black in it. Detroit's 100th Anniversary is coming up in the next couple of years and I am interested to see if they come out with any special jerseys for that.
The Florida Panthers is a team I would love to see get alternate jersey one day

i've got a jersey challenge for any designers who are up for it: take at least one element from every single team's logo in the NHL and combine them all into one, single logo on a jersey. i know that'd make for a shorter video but, i think it'd be really interesting to see what that would look like.

A red wing jersey should never have black in it. It’s Red and White
Detroit being black would make them look like Carolina. Not sure why you obsess about black with the Wings. They did have gold for a few seasons. I'd be okay with some gold trimming or outline. imo the first Winter Classic jerseys were the best alternates we've ever seen. I'd carry those as a full-time 3rd.
They don't need an alternate jersey. The Winter Classic/Stadium Series gives them the chance to go with something different. But if they were, the only one that has EVER really worked as the 75th anniversary jersey. Clean, crisp, classic.

As a die hard Red Wings fan, I NEED us to use that red and purple octopus uniform! I would buy an NHL game just to play in that.
Yep, the number 1 was my favourite as well, but I would add the normal red wings logo (but just an all red version) on one shoulder and maybe add a silver stripe in between the red stripes on the arms and waist / hem line. Could even add a bit of silver to the main logo and numbers.
I really hope the Wings never have an alternate. Kind of cool being one of three teams to not have any alternate (others being Montreal and Utah.) I’m perfectly fine with only getting specialty jerseys.
Love the blacks, black & red just go together so well love logo changes especially the wheel with wings on both sides or checkers behind it. Its time to change from the same damn logo & strip patter 😴
