@Montreal Canadiens

Nice of you to join us.

The Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators capped off the preseason tonight with a weird game, kind of a boring game too but it was still fun because the Montreal prospects were entertaining to watch.

I loved the preseason but BRING ON THE REGULAR SEASON! I am so ready for it.

  2. Both goals Monty is deep in his net. If he plays out near top of blue he has a chance to save both. He did better on his rebounds but had no idea where his net was. Many times he was so far out of his net. Saved by the defense. We need a better goalie.

  3. love how u ask us to consider following u rather than be like dont forget to hit the sub button i feel like its more respectful and more chilll ig? love it love the content keep up good work brother

  4. A good pre season for the Habs, let the real games begin! Northern Ontario – we had our summer weather in September and it’s continuing in October – up to 28 today! Go Blue Jays!

  5. Remember, the last T in "atatataquanTs" is silent. Some people don't pronounce the two middle Ts, but they have no sense of humour.

  6. Season starts October 8th against Toronto yet RDS sells it like the season starts october 9th lol (Because the opener is on TVA sports) i kinda want all games to be on the same channel, even if it means paying more, i can't wait to see how the french version will even survive if Amazon does take over, and also im really REALLY hoping they consider hiring Hall Of Famer Pierre Houde. He's the one guy i'd listen for another 25 years

    Go Habs Go! ♥

  7. A few things I’ve learned the past couple days:

    1. Guhle-Dobson should play together; Hutson with Matheson

    2. Veleno is the new younger, cheaper Dvorak

    3. Eventually, one of the lines is going to be Xhekaj-Kapanen-Demidov and the other lines might be Bolduc-Hage-Laine and Newhook-Evans-Beck. Not bad!

    4. If Dach doesn’t work out, I’m convinced that KH will go get a stopgap C to fill the spot until Hage is ready. Doesn’t need to be Crosby, but a veteran like O’Reilly, Jenner, Copp, McCann-type player would work.

    5. Roy, Farrell, Mesar, Struble, Dobes, maybe Engstrom and any 1st rd draft picks are going to be used as trade pieces at deadlines and in the summer to pick up good veterans when there’s a need.

  8. Veleno is a Montreal born player and it shows, give him a chance. ♥ Kirkland represent!!

  9. I line in Guelph, ON. There are so many Habs fans living here and in SWO. So it’s a real “pisser” that The Maple Laughs won’t let us see many of the Habs game trying to protect what exactly? Like we Hab fans are going to watch Lead games??? LOL it’s time for the NHL and Sportsnet to wake up !!!!

  10. Alright, just happy that we came out of the pre-season without too many bad injuries. Even Reinbacher will hopefully be back 100% soon enough. On with the season!

  11. I was not impressed by the Habs, low intensity and a bit sleepy even from the regular players. I know it's the last pre-season game but they shouldn't think its worthless because it lack dedication and effort. Your a professional or your not!!!

  12. I have been watching him this pre-season actually was at the game last night,he definitely has a place on this team.He shows he has heart and does not give up A local boy who’s dream is coming true,Veleno is o Montrealer who finally has a spot on the Montréal Canadiens.

  13. Teemu and tie domi were on same line in his rc yr. Gino odjick was a linemate with pavel bure. Id have anderson or florian with demidov.

  14. ugh a boring game for most of it. You can tell they were playing safe, don't get hurt kind of hockey. Looking forward to the start of the season.

  15. For the record, I don't think Laine will ever be a great player 5 on 5.

But I think last year's Laine was still hurting and came back as early as possible and never healed properly. He should be more mobile this year.

    I think.

  16. Dude, where’s your hat? Had a bit of a jump scare when I hit play, haha. Who is this snapbackless chap with the hair?

  17. Ok, now that pre-season is done, I cannot wait to see how the Habs will work in the first 10 games 🙂

  18. Hi Whiskey,
Your French is getting better but it's always been bugging me when you say "attaquants". Please only pronounce one of the middle T's and it'll definitely sound more right.

  19. Veleno stood out in this game. I was okay with a snooze fest as you called it. Beck, Florian Xhekaj, and Engström, have been sent down to the AHL but they shown they can fill a roll when a regular goes down to injury/suspension. Good teams have good players. Great teams have good players and depth at each position. We are on the way to being great
