Bobby sounds so much more comfortable than I've seen him before. It's awesome hearing that he's a big reader! I'm rooting for him to be one of those guys that sticks around for a while.
Hope all is well and you're physically doing great Jason! Without York in the line up takes a tonne of excitement out of tonights game for me…I'm sure you and others feel the same…and every game he's out until he's back or we pick up a stud D man… which is unlikely this early. Awesome player forecasts Jason. Like you I think there will be an improvement this year but I think that next year is when we will see an even bigger improvement with a 'few' new players moving up and from a few trades. Thank you Jason. God bless.
27:26 Farabee and frost arenβt our problems anymore Jason π
I will say – I want Seeler to NOT feel the need to block 100+ shots this season. Iβm okay with 80 π
Toronto is NOT making the playoffs this season unfortunately. Sens, Canadiens, Blue Jackets will be better. π I live in the GTA – the Blue Jays are the ONLY team that will matter this year
I see Philly challenging and staying toe to toe with Washington / Rangers for the last Wild card spot.
Jason, hope your battle is going well. Also, it would better serve you to ask real questions, rather than make three statements and pressure the kids to agree with you. Open ended questions will land far better answers for your viewers.
All the best to you Jasonβ¦.thinking of your health
Bobby is a knower books are always better than their movie counterparts

You made the remark that the Broad Street Bullies style of play is gone now due to league rules. Sadly I agree but am that guy/fan that loved that and still look for glimpses of it in every game and player. That's why I like Seeler, Deslaurius And Hathaway. Conversely it's why I can't get excited about Zegras, Drysdale and York. Still a Flyers fan till the end!
BOBBY BRINK!π₯
Brink is one of the first player I trade its not his fault we have 3 undersize right wingers Michkov, Konecny easy to make a choice and return Tippett on the right π€·
And Martone coming up soon
Brink is a very good player and a good pro. He really improved under Torts. Heβs going to have a long career
Thanks as always Jason, loved the Bobby interview.
Unfortunately though, I don't have faith that our defense will be any better this year than it was last year. Like everyone else, I hope for the best that York and Drysdale can take another step forward, but nothing is a guarantee. Risto starting on IR doesn't help. I hope I'm wrong π
Hell yea books are always better!
I'll be watching the Phillies.
That brink line is all we have..toss in a zegras n michkov and that's it. Have fun playing 1 line that actually is developing. The rest are just passing the puck till the games over and going through the motions. I guess let's go Flyers? P.s how do we get that extra step before games what do we need Bobby?
Flyers are the Cleveland Browns of the NHL. They need to get generational talent, elite 2 way players and superior goaltending but the Flyers don't know how to build that type of team. They will build a team that is exciting with Mich and Zegras, get people excited and in the seats and than do what they do best, play crap defense with backup goalies, sound familiar?
Just tank already, if you are not in the top 2 draft, you have nothing to build on. They got Mich only because no one wanted to a chance.
A team full of Zegras and Mitch is exciting but would go nowhere, elite talent and defense is all that matters and Mitch and Zegra are not elite players. But the team is happy not to be playing for Torts (crybabies with no real idea what it takes to win consistently) so they can possibly win vs Florida or get hammered, that's what teams with bad defense and goalies and no elite talent do, inconsistent!
