His star power is rising…
Blackhawks fans spent the entire offseason praying for that leap, the moment Connor Bedard shifts from promising kid to full-blown superstar. And through just two games, you can already see it happening. #chicagoblackhawks #blackhawks #chicago #nhl #hockey #connorbedard #icehockey

  1. Love that he got involved in that scrap standing up for Nazar. He's tired of being pushed around

  2. Going out on a ledge, but , these boys are gonna end up mid way this year in their conference. 26/27 season their in the post season hunt. Also, the officiating in this game was trash. I saw at least 2 times when Bedard was literally held, like bear hugged, by Boston.

  3. Like Bedard said which we’ve seen since that game that they’re learning from the Panthers style

  4. Seeing Bedard Rinzel Levy Nazar Dach and Skinner together is great, no, they haven't won, but they look like a more competitive team

  5. Honestly i'm not really mad at the first two games of the season. Yes we need to improve, but duhhhhh half our roster isn't even 25😂😂. people outside our organization don't seem to understand that and just want to hate. Like our kids look better, and it's looking to be a much more fun year than last year. Will there be growing pains, absolutely (looking at you Lev). And we'll still probably be a bottom 4 team but this experience is going to pay off in a great way in a few years from now. Connor looks incredible so far, Frankie's still a beast, Rinzel is standing out, Dach is getting more and more lovable every shift, and we seem to be having fun, which is all we can ask for right now. Super excited for this teams future

  6. A lot was made of Bedard working on his speed in the off-season, and the work paid off. I am also wondering if he didn't quietly work with someone on the physical aspects of the game. His willingness to go to the boards, throw a check, and stick up for himself and his teammates is huge. It's only two games, but adding those to the pre-season, and call me impressed.

  7. Even though the Hawks lost their first couple of games, they played well. By mid season, Nazar, Bedard, Rinzel, and Dach are going to be making a huge difference in games. The Hawks already have some great talent in Donato and bringing back Teravienan after proving himself in Carolina is also going to pay off huge. Having Foligno at captain is going highly valuable this year. My question is Connor Murphy, can he step it up a bit and stay healthy? Also, can Reichel FINALLY have a consistant season? If everyone can stay relatively healthy, I think we’re going to see some great hockey in Chicago.
