At tonight’s game with my wife. Love to see the team win. That 3rd period looked undisciplined in taking penalties but the first two period looked stellar. Keeping the Kings to the outside. Not allowing them any space 5 feet from the net, collecting rebounds, using our physicality. The only thing that would have made this night magical would have been to see Necas score a hatrick or have Landy score.
Underrated part of this sequence is Necas with three guys on him getting the puck to MacKinnon to keep the play alive. Makar doing his thing is beautiful to watch and capped off with Lehky getting a signature gritty goal. Nice to see the guys get off to a quick start this season.
Whoever thought glitter sparkles was a good idea for the new kings jersey needs to be fired immediatley 😅 couldnt get over it the whole game. Makar is just special. Nothing else to say
