Check out the St. Louis Blues opening video for home games before the 2025-26 regular season. The video features Blues players and a cover of Black Sabbath’s hit song “War Pigs” and debuted on Oct. 9, 2025.
It’s really an easy formula to follow and I just don’t get how you can mess it up. Just in case you lost the formula, it is as follows: 1. Find a song that most people would play in front of their children. For example, not War Pigs. 2. Add a heavy dose of Blues nostalgia that got us to where we are today 3. Sprinkle in some general St. Louis city pride (for example, look into the 2019 Stanley Cup hype video when the Blues go marching in) 4. Add a few more recent amazing plays, saves, goals with some footage of fans going crazy.
