Turnovers and brain cramps combined with the boys believing the game was a gift. Up 3-0 to lose in a SO. Hopefully more attention to detail and puck luck in future games . Saw a lot of positive with the young player.Congrats for Leon on 400 goals.

It was counted because it was called a good goal on the ice and they couldn’t find enough to overturn it. I think they should change the way they do it, that the referee just says the puck is in the net, but the situation room decides if it a good goal or not in that situation.

Quit the experiment putting Frederic on top line. Not fast or cerebral enough to play with Connor and Leon. Use Savoie or Tomasek. Savoie has the speed, skill and HIQ to keep up! They say Frederic plays better at centre, so give him his own line running the 3rd . maybe with Kapanen and Tomasek.

Hi Patrick and guest also all Oilers from Germany for a new season of Hockey. i wasnt really prepared for the very early start at 4 am in the morning, family told me silly guy, but i wanna see my team at first game live. it was a good start, full of enthusiasm and nice played goals for a 3-0 lead. everything looks good, but sometimes the old critizised points in defense started to com back, Bouch was like being sleeping on ice, Skinner did a Skinner thing and suddenly we did have a 3-3 tied game. Penalties are a gambling thing and so there stood a lost game on first date! it looked like the last two tries for the cup, great moments but lost! offense did look miles better than defense, goaltending, OMG nothing in common… ! Same procedure than every year Patrick. Nice to see you doing Patrick things in believing and talking about the good things, but the mission was, to turn this around!!! i hope, also for my health in doing strange things at 4 am in the morning, that they had seen what hard work they had to do quickly in order to have a better start than every last seasons. nice to meet you again in this season, greetings from rainy and cold Germany and GO OILERS FOR THE CUP!
