  1. Rinzel definitely played better than Lev at the end of the season last year. Lev definitely didn’t have the best camp. He didn’t have the best exhibition games. He definitely didn’t have a good games. If it wasn’t for Kaiser, he might’ve looked even worse. That being said my concern is mainly that he’s 20 years old and that he shouldn’t lose confidence in his game. (Dach? Reichel? Korchinski?) Going back to theAHL where he is familiar after spending last year there and he’s familiar with his teammates there may be a good thing for him if he is not able to bounce back and show a better trend in the next 10 games or so.

  2. Regarding NHL officiating in general and the brutal call against Nazar: WHEN is the league going to demand thorough explanations from the refs, like what the NFL refs usually do? It is so pathetic and screams a lack of transparency, and disrespectful to the fans. 🤬

  3. Let’s face it, refs are failed hockey players, and just like cops who were bullied or were bullies in school, they see a young guy like Bedard or Nazar succeeding where they failed, and there may well be a bit of jealously and ā€œI’ll show you who’s in charge punkā€ attitude.

  4. Man I really hope Levshunov turns out to be a good pick for us but seeing what we could have had in Demidov makes me feel like we made the wrong pick here

  5. Levshunov is taking penalties bc he cant keep up at this moment. He's not hitting, turning pucks over, taking penalties, not boxing guys out and generating very little. Yes in time he'll probably be fine, but for right now he hasn't earned a spot on an NHL roster in my opinion.

  6. If you're ok with Korchinski going to Rockford for extra development then how are you defending Levshunovs play? Hes not ready for NHL either.

  7. That was a terrible 2 on 0 break away during OT. I guess they were out of gas, but I've never seen such a half-assed breakaway like that in the NHL. Nazar just coasted and didn't even provide the goalie another threat, so it was just a 1on1 for Bedard and he fired a weak shot. I'm happy the Hawks played relatively well, but those are the moments that I expect players like Bedard and Nazar to shine on

  8. Lev does need some AHL time, not the whole year but oh man we can't have a double standard for him. As for his fancy stats this game, his deployment was almost strictly o-zone draws so good on Blashill for deploying him better.

  9. WHO DID YOU WATCH THAT SAID LEV WOULD BE A NUMBER 1 DMAN šŸ˜‚ Like maybe if everything works out he's a decent number 1. I know you guys follow scouching and he most certainly has his grievances with him
