  1. Love the Thumbnail graphic because it implies this contract negotiation is going to be solved with some massive lightsabre battle between Evangelista and Trotz a la Empire Strikes Back

  2. If you compare Barry with Poile, the latter was ass GM from a very young age in Caps. I think it is pretty evident that Barry is a a greenhorn in the GM business. Very hard to recognize patterns in what he has done after that ‘big 3’ deal last summer. On top of that he gets outplayed/fleeced by other GMs. If I was ownership I would be seriously worried.

  3. My biggest problem is that we’re waiting on negotiations and we don’t even really know what we have in him. After nearly 3 seasons, it feels like he’s still this candy Wonderball full of surprises. I just want a deal to get done and him to actually get a fair shot from Bruno.

  4. I know it's a business… but by this time in the season, if I was Luke I don't know if I'd even want to play for Nashville at this point and I'm a Nashville die hard from the inception of the team!

  5. .147 goals per game last year. I understand he still has some potential to improve but he could easily be replaced with a cheaper veteran than when he must be asking for.

  6. Starting to think I'm the only one that doesn't hate Luke now. He's a big part of the future and when he eventually signs all will be forgiven when he scores his first goal back.

  7. My biggest problem is that we’re waiting on negotiations and we don’t even really know what we have in him. After nearly 3 seasons, it feels like he’s still this candy Wonderball full of surprises.

  8. People will be getting out of their seats in the middle of the 2nd period to leave for the night if there are any more seasons like the Music City Hockey Tour!!!!!

  9. Mctavish played on arguably a worse team, and had 20 more points than vange. I’d take mctavish over vange any day of the week

  10. If this doesn't get resolved soon…this might seriously be the beginning of the end for Barry as Nashville's GM. I mean it won't just be this. But this will be one of the bigger things that people point as a mismanaged situation. Whether Evangelista is worth what he is asking or not, at this point, is irrelevant. The mismanagement displayed here goes beyond a bad decision. Those are forgiveable (to an extent). This is now in the territory of…pettiness.
