    I agree. Who does he think he is ? Sabres still have complete control of the situation. If traded it has to be a hockey trade. No picks or prospects

    Get two defensively responsible RH defensemen, one to play with Power, one to play with Dahlin. Get Robertson and that is a playoff team.

    I’m a Sabres fan living in Western New York and I probably wouldn’t want to come here if I was a free agent but I’d play here and make the best of it if I was drafted here. That being said I’d love to see Peterka for Robertson.

    I grew up a Sabres fan starting with the great Briere and Drury teams. The Bills being great is awesome but hockey is my sport and I just want to see the Sabres in the playoffs again. Please.

    He is a Restricted Free Agent. He has noooooo say. The Sabres have 4 years of control left. If someone signs him to an offer sheet you match. I don’t understand the media… show me one media post where Peterka says he wants out of Buffalo. Please show me… otherwise it’s a bunch of professional ahem… INSIDERS (basically the weatherman equivalent of journalism) saying “guess what I heard”… “did he realllly saaay that??? Omg”.

    You trade jj, tuch, dahlin and tage is next. It's bull. You need to put ur foot down. The Sabres are just a farm system for teams to fleece them. Ridiculous. Every play that wants out ur trading them. They won't make the playoffs for another 15 years

    In fairness the franchise was mediocre for many years before they drafted him, remains mediocre when they drafted him and years since when he has broken out as a star player.

    They may control his rights but if he kicks up a stink they will eventually trade him.

    At this point I don’t even care what players we have anymore, if a good trade comes trade him, if he gets offer sheeted match it though, either suck it up or get out in exchange for something, just make the fucking playoffs

    Sabre's don't have to do a thing with Peterka. They have his rights and are in control. He doesn't have to like it as well. If anybody makes an offer sheet the Sabre's can match it easily and if it is an insane offer sheet well then that is a different story.
