Lank has had two stinkers in a row but the team wouldn't have even been in a position to battle for a playoff spot without him. This team has so many issues but goaltending isn't one of them.
I know some fans are getting worried about save % but look around the league- its an epidemic. Teams are NOT shooting the puck and are scoring at way higher % on the very few shots that they take; at least more than any other time i can remember in recent history
But is Lank still smiling? That’s all you weirdos seem to care about.
Again with the click bait headline only to talk about some guys tweet.
Honestly nhl players are just getting better. Shooting is down but scoring is up
All players go through slumps. Could be a slump, could be illness, could be a bit of fatigue. He'll be fine.
Please, "Go out there" and shut up!
Simple you want to give points away – Put Kevin in Net.
Lanker has never been a #1 goal tender and he has run out of gas as he has played way more games then he has in the past. They pretty much have to ride Demko for most of the stretch run. It' s their only chance.
The Canucks are allowing grade A chances, which is back checking and defense unable to box out the crease. Pressure on the opposing point man, from a checking forward, was lacking. Those shots were dangerous and went in or were deflected or put in by guys not being boxed out. Lankinen is screened as you can see him guessing the wrong side of the mosh pit of players. He looses his crease at times which is gonna burn you. Crazy game. There's been lots of talk he's not used to the workload. That, plus the flu/cold?? They could've used Pettersson in the shootout, too.
Anyway, this was a good analysis of Lankinen and the Canucks.
Demko has had nore bad games than Lank this season. Lets just chill
Well Tocchet does say during the interviews that he's been recovering from an illness so…
How in the hell would the Canucks send down Lankinnen after giving him a 5 year extension. That’s completely stupid. Sure he had a couple of bad games but without him the Canucks would have been out of the playoffs long ago.
Good that they sent Silovs back down. Silovs need to play games to get back into form and to develop further. He's only 24… Markstrom and Demko at the same age were still struggling at the NHL, with GAA over 3.00. Arturs needs to play stellar for the AHL playoffs and maybe the World Championship again if he is to have any value to the Canucks organization or as a trade piece.
SILOVS WAS A GOD IN LAST SEASONS PLAYOFFS, he litterly made amny key hard saves and he was fuckin amazing. Silovs should defienetly not be sent down, he has a huge potential in him and he is not given enough opportunities, lenkinen on the other hand is being pretty trash lately ngl, you should maybe send him down tbh (jks). Like the one match they had recently where the opponents made 11 shots and 4 of them were goals😅. Give more chance to Silovs and he will show what he is made out of.
Lanks stays Demko moves as you will see. Silovs is doing good in AHL playoffs. Tocks might move to Phily. X Detroit coach or Sullivan might be here. We have to help Buffallo they can help us. Power and McLeod could endup here. Willander and Demko and Sasson move to mid USA.
