Will Connor Ingram REPLACE The Oilers Current Goalies this Season?

  1. I would say as soon as they think Imgram is ready for NHL minutes, he's going to get called up and put into at least one game. If the cap space is tight, Pickard will likely get sent down.

  2. Picks is a solid back up, waive Skinner, no way anyone takes him and send him down, don’t re-sign him. That’s the reality.

  3. That SOB Ingram cost me an $800 parlay win by having a 40+ save shutout against Tampa a few years ago…..

  4. Yeah why do you think we have him? His job is to replace Skinner who on a good night plays average hockey like he did against the Flames until he loses the game for us again

  5. Skinner is long on borrowed time and he shouldn’t have ANY games under .900 at this point. NOPE.
and his first game of the season he’s already failed in the first game. I’ve been pulling for this guy for so long, but I’ve just had it. We just can’t do this anymore. It’s not working.

  6. After last night's loss, Skinner needs to go. He got a new Coach, but he is still inconsistent. He is NOT a starter!!

  7. McDavid just gave the Oilers the biggest discount in NHL history and if our plan is to replace Skinner with Ingram, then we have failed Connor McDavid

  8. Skinner last night proved again what he is. Give Ingram a chance soon so we know what we have and if they need to go hunting for a bigger game.

  9. Wow the number of people who think Skinner is to blame every time the oilers loose is unreal. He's hung out to dry by his defence often and/or the offence who don't back check. I'm a huge fan of both Connor and Leon but if they want a cup they need to become aggressive 2 way players. I the late 90's Scotty Bowman told Yzerman the same thing, and once Steve committed to that idea he became almost unstoppable. When the rest of the Wings team witnessed Steve's two way commitment and realized he'd kill himself to win the team became a dominant force that didn't quit until they collected cups. One man won't bring a cup, the whole team needs to put it all on the line. McDavid's speed should make him a two way force like the league has never seen . Once him and Leon can commit to that idea then it won't matter who they have in net, the cup will be theirs. BTW, Ingram has only had a single season where he's played 50 games, the other 2 he played were like 20-25 games, so the idea that people think he's Mr. Consistent while trashing Stu for being inconsistent is wild. He's also fresh off a mental leave. Ingram has a lot to prove before he can be labeled the most consistent goalie on the team. At this point he needs to prove he can even handle the AHL on a consistent basis.

  10. Well they will have to let Conner get some serious minutes in ahl and get up to speed. I think we will know what he have in him by mid November
