    I think it was a good start (although sloppy) for both teams. We all know the Leafs are a solid team, what's nice is that the Habs are back to a level where they can compete/follow the Leafs. The score isn't indicative of how the game actually went,. I'm glad and hopeful to see the rivalry between Red and Blue come back because it had fizzled out over the last 5-6 years.

    Steve – I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the $20 victory puppies donation drive for various Humane Societies -Leafs Nation Wide!!! I wonder what it would take to get one of the leafs behind the victory puppies drive!!!! Get Matthews involved!!!!!! Seems like a dog person!!!!!

    Steve, I love your content, but I really really love the legacy you are leaving for Iggy. I had to put my dog AND my cat down this spring, and it sucks on every level. I'm really sorry for your loss, and I will absolutely match your commitment to my local SPCA. You are the man.

    I saw the Jays win to move on to the ALCS. The Jays know commitment and heart. This little win against the Habs means nothing. We all know what is going to happen in the Spring, right? The Leafs will CHOKE AGAIN. This year, I predict they do not even make the first round.

    THIS IS THE YEAR!!!!….. said every leaf fan ever for the past 58 years and really really REALLY thought it was true lol. I was living in Toronto in the mid 90s and OMG, the leafs got Tucker – they're gonna win the cup!!!…. but guys, what about the Red Wings, or Colorado or NJ??? I'll bet you 20 bucks the leaf's win the cup …. ok, sounds good budy……that was my life for the 15 years I spent in Toronto. It was like a zombie twilight zone… I do hope they win, I really do, just because enough is enough! The problem is the fans WILL be unbearable sigh….. there is no hate or tone in this message ( see how I have to be so gentle to the leaf fan here because of the shattered sense of reality?). I think the biggest tragedy isn't that the leafs haven't won all these years – it's that 99% of the Leaf fans STOP WATCHING HOCKEY when the leaf season ends so theses "hockey fans" have missed the most incredible hockey there is…… but they'll never see it…. ok, back to sleep! Go Leafs GO and this is the year!!

    Condolences on losing Iggy. A few weeks ago. I passed your wife and you with Iggy in the oshawa dog park. My ten year old dog has also passed away since.
