   There actually used to be an ECHL team in Tallahassee,FL named the Tiger Sharks! They lasted from 1995 to 2001 I believe!

   Thankfully they just went with Sharks. Of course they should play the theme from JAWS when the players come onto the ice!!

   Funny story: There was a cartoon anthology series called the Comic Strip. One of the 4 cartoon that make up the show was "Tigersharks." It was an offshoot of Thundercats and Silverhawks. Here's the wikipedia article on the cartoon:

   My favorite almost team name that would have been horrific is the Rocky Mountain Xtreme. Colorado Avalanche isn’t great, but way better than that.
