How good or how bad!? Lol. I liked the Peterka trade , love the new D with Kesselring & Connor Timmins but my question is if Ruff wants to stress more attention to D then why would they bring back D coach Marty Wilford who IMO shouldve been fired when Granato was. Secondly I would feel even better about the D if A&K traded or waived Samuelsson the injury prone pylon. Put Ryan Johnson with Timmins on the 3rd D pair.
A healthy Norris and Josh Doan should easily make up for Peterka's goal production. I love Doan's work ethic & forecheck. You probably dont remember Doan's dad but he was a very underrated NHL forward . I know it was only preseason but Norris and Thompson looked very good together. My big question up front is Jack Quinn, why did A&K bring him back? I hope he proves he wrong and he flourishes on the third line with Kulich and Doan although in yesterdays practice Macleod was with Doan & Quinn and Kulich was with Tuch & Zucker. A&K claimed goaltender Colton Ellis from St louis.
Im with you as I think Buffalo makes the playoffs as the sewage pit make me laffs will miss Marner and their D is OLD and Slow and Boston and Detroit will be BAD this season .
