It was a bit of fight fill 1st period with 2 heavyweight tilts. Farrell, Mesar, Kidney provided most of the offense. Fowler played 40 mins, was solid but not tested too much.

  1. It looks like the poisonous relationship between the big teams has carried over to the AHL. This nonsense will run and run for the foreseeable future, I suspect.

  2. Farrell will make himself undeniable as far as a NHL spot goes, it may not be in Montreal but he will get a shot next year somewhere

  3. This is the 3rd season in a row when Mešár has promising camp and start to the season, i hope he manages to stay healthy to show his true potential

  4. Well team toughness made its way to Laval. The beauty of this is our players are not just 3-5 minutes a game thugs. While their whole arsenal consists of delayed hits cause they are to slow mentally and physically to keep ahead or least involved in sudden changes. The stick work is also gross and end up dirty and a stick can slash,spear ,buttend when they can't keep up or follow the flow. Cross checking, slew footing is their way of stick handling and foot😂 work . All this only to get clobbered by a player who is out on the ice 10-16 minutes. Better fundamentaly in all aspects including a face pumping when called for.😂
