At the 2025 NHL Trade Deadline, the Buffalo Sabres acquired center Josh Norris from the Ottawa Senators. Josh Norris, after a tremendous 2021/22 season was signed to a massive 8 year deal by Ottawa, but from that time forward, Norris has only played in 114 NHL games over 3 years. He has battled injury after injury, and the Sabres shut him down after acquiring him in order to try to get him fully healthy for this season. Norris is hoped to be the missing piece of a top tier top line for the Sabres, pushing Tage Thompson to new heights, and helping Zach Benson to find his offense. The only question is, can he actually stay healthy for the 2025/26 Sabres.
