It was his first game back with a new line and a new coach. I'm not saying it was a good game or to ignore it, but one game in. Seasons not over.
That’s because Zabs panarin and the 11.5 million dollar man truly suck it’s time to move them on
This is what happens when you have a clown for a GM they should do to the non-trade clauses the same thing they did to trouba either you give them an ultimatum and that’s it
I’m not a rangers fan. But it’s one game. lol. Happens to every player. Probably should wait till game 20.
Rangers will be fine
JT is a very good player, but he's NOT a leader. When he's under the helm of a strong leader who knows JT and what makes him tick, and how to help JT keep his head screwed on right, he can be lights out with his power moves and playmaking. If he's the leader, he's shown a pattern of cracking under the pressure, scapegoating teammates, kicking off feuds, and generally getting nasty to be around. Take the C off him NYR and give it to a leader, unless you want to end JT's career and tank your season. And for the record, EP40 hasn't been a leader yet either, but he at least doesn't tank the team by going bananas on his teammates and blaming some random scapegoat. His leadership issues are his tendency to self blame, even when it's unwarranted. That tank tank HIS own season, like it did both times he was on his first year post new contract, but it won't negatively affect the other 21 guys in the locker room, so at least they can still go about doing their thing and Petty doesn't stop playing, he just forgets what he needs to do to be successful for a while. Then he remembers or a teammate reminds him and he's back to light's out again. Some players can produce a lot of points but that does not make them leaders. Nothing wrong with a high production player being a follower, that's all about personality type and temperament and it takes a very specific personality and temperament to be a leader, which most don't have, even if they can do their job as one of the led very well.
Sample size of 1. That said, who doesn't enjoy a little schadenfreude from time to time?
Gabe Perreault to the rescue
