Lego, can you please do a video about what it would take for Bedard + Celebrini to come to Vancouver (assume in this scenario both demand a trade to Vancouver to keep it simple). Very unrealistic imo but would be a fun vid to watch!
Alvain: "I like how Evander Kane has helped the young guys in there on that line." In other words, the 34 year old veteran is doing exactly what we got him to do, be a role model for the young kids, and mentor them into the NHL and all this while he still has enough of his prime of career ability of a few years ago to also still lead by example for another year or 2. And he's showing enough character to even extend his career beyond his offensively productive top 6 days as a 4th line role player who's there for his dressing room presence and calm stability more then what he does on the ice. That's something the Canucks lacked last season. I have a feeling someone like Ian Cole may have contributed more behind the scenes then we realized at the time. I also see Tyler Myers as that, especially for the D-core. I'm glad Alvain and Rutherford hung onto him, but got his contract in line with his skills and contributions rather then blaming him for Benning's bad negotiating and just fixed the problem with the out of whack contract as soon as it was possible to do so.
