Avalanche: Beautiful dynamic passing. La kings : generic shoot the puck from half court and hope for a rebound or over pass the puck and still get a hail Mary shot

I would fire hiller , I understand the avalanche are a great team , however the first ten minutes the kings were the better team <that’s the good news , the bad news is once they got tired the avs just took over for 50 minutes , how were the Kings not ready fitness wise ……weak undemanding coach

Thank goodness for the dodgers , because the Kings have no fitness , you don’t have the beat the avs , you do have to out okay or at the very least match intensity, they did neither , they stink royally
Defense is going to be slow this season hopefully enough back checking will help but the question is at how much offensive cost
I wouldn’t be concerned if the Kings got better in the offseason.

Listen, we are NOT in the same stratosphere as the Avalanche. They’re are a better team…period. Doesn’t mean we stink. It’s just one game. We looked FLAT…bottom line. Much to improve…but hopeful. We gotta skate better and move the puck better like…the Avalanche. We’ll get there. Go kings Go!

It was more than the inability to control Makar and MacKinnon. The only offensive consistency throughout the game was Turcotte. Kempe was silent. Doughty was silent. Clarke had nothing. Mallott played with heart but is a 4th liner. Where was Q? If this is what we can expect from the team then sell it off. Start over. For real. Mediocrity is lame.
The Kings lack talent. We are a team of hard-working players, but that's not good enough in the NHL. I think we need to have a refresh on our scouting department.
Hillers inexperienced and Bednard was able ro manipulate the matchups especially in the 2nd period. The Kings and the Reign have been rough in the 2nd during long changes and the Avs took advantage.
How can depth be your advantage and you only play 10 of your 12 forwards? And the only noticeable player offensively was Turcotte. Hiller isn't good and is gravy training off of McClellan.

One game and we have very little faith in our 4th line, and then we put all forwards on our power plays, surprise we looked older and slower! Hiller keeps trying to rediscover the wheel instead of doing what has worked for years!!
