I have the tape, after the fight the camera swings around to Mr. T. in the stands, Standing, clapping and cheering.
Mr. T loved the fights and was a big hockey fan.

  3. The fight against Makenzie was Johns biggest loss.
His steroid pumpkin head was sore after that fight.

  4. Met John with Brian Fogarty. Very sad especially that they both passed away so young.. forgartty went from breaking Bobby Orrs records in junior to not being alive 20yrs later a few years after john passed away. Not the only people I knew that were lost to that problem.. very sad

  6. I SAW KORDIC DROP THE GLOVES WITH THE CAPE BRETON OILERS BACK IN THE EARLY 90’s & EVERY TIME BUDDY WOULD SKATE PAST KORDIC DURING THE PRE-GAME SKATE KORDIC WOULD TAP HIM WITH HIS STICK ,SO YOU KNEW SHIT WAS HITTIN THE FAN WHEN THE PUCK DROPPED!…WELL MY GOD!…BUDDY DIDNT WATCH K0RDIC’S HIGHLIGHTS CAUSE HE GRABBED HIS RIGHT ARM & KORDIC WENT TO WORK WITH HIS PATENTED “FLURRY OF LEFTS” UNTIL BUDDY BLOCKED EVERY ONE WITH HIS MELON & TOOK A QUICK SNOOZE @ THE FACEOFF CIRCLE!…KORDIV’S WORK WAS DONE!

  7. All these guys who drop the gloves are fighting demons from the past…most are messed up mentally. Just exploited as meat nothing less.

  8. Kordic was awesome. Hero. Fast hands. Swings left and right equally.

Hockey fights are an illogical yet entrenched ritual within the sport. They serve not only as a release of aggression but as a form of intimidation and team protection. Effectiveness in such encounters is not determined solely by raw strength as balance and cunning strategy are important as well to ensure you effectively pound out an opponent’s lights. Kordic had a PhD in this skill set.

  9. I played pool once with Kordic when he was in Habs AHL team in Sherbrooke in 85 or 86. Also met Mario Roberge that way, another former Habs enforcer that played in Sherbrooke.
    RIP Mr Kordic…

  10. Holy crap! Kordic vs Clark! Wow! Kordic fought them all! I was just a kid when I saw him play but even then I knew he was the real deal. RIP
