The lines actually are starting to resemble a real NHL team. It's exciting to see the young organizational depth. Just need a goalie to pan out
They still donāt have a 1C, 1D, or 1G. Until they get at least one of them, i canāt get excited for the next step in this rebuild.
I think the 1D is the most important. The 1D solidifies your whole D and all the top teams have one.
Luchanko needs to be in the lineup, deal with the growing pains, he canāt go back to Guelph. We need to address our D, 5th, 6th and 7th are garbage.

I know its only pre- season but Matvei Michkov looks out of shape or he's a lazy player , too slow for his size š¢š¤·

Bills takes have been horrendous. Steph Driver-bad. The flyers arenāt much better from lat year. Their goalies are bad, the d is well below average – Jamie Drysdale is STILL a question mark, they have no number one center and one of their top four wingers is overpaid and canāt hit the oven with spit in Tippett
This season and even next are still a lost cause. They will likely get more high draft picks, which will help greatly. But there is still an incredible amount of work to be done. They arenāt even remotely close to āturning the corner on the rebuildā as they said last uear
No real 1/2 D man, No real 1 Center , No real#1 Goalie = No Playoffs
Concerning the PP ….it will improve only slightly ( Zegras / Michkov but Because No shots get thru from the Point it will still not be good enough. Too many blocks and missed shots. Need a BIG Accurate shot on the blueline and they do not have it. Drysdale and the 60 ft wristers will not get it done.

Zegras was rushed into the NHL and then got hit by injuries. He's due for a huge year if he stays healthy
Foresberg Gagne were amazing when Peter was healthy
Thanks largely to Zegras I think they will be more entertaining ā¦ but I donāt think they will be ābetterā. They still have all the same flaws as last year. I think once Martone comes up and they use their cap space both likely in 2026 they will actually be ābetterā.
Great snippet, love to hear Jason more and more. His attitude towards this team is one that PHLY (both bill and charlie, love you both but more positivity please) can definitely do better. I get it the team is not the easiest thing to talk about in a positive light but seriously you two sound like whiny little girls. Thank you Jason for being you and spreading your love through your words always
