Laine isn't playing with Demidov. Demidov is on a line with Kapannen and Newhook
If memory serves me well, you guys didn't have the Habs anywhere near the playoffs last year,. You were wrong then. I expect you to be wrong again this year. 😛
Jessie’s takes are becoming more and more legit.

Dobes is the backup.. he played two preseason games this year and hasn’t allowed a goal. Kahkonen got waived already
Matheson is gone at the end of the year.. Hutson is on pp 1. Kapanen is the #2 center.
Florida putting Sam Montembeault on waivers was NOT a mistake at all. There was ZERO CHANCE he was getting into the line-up consistently without a major injury to Bobo or Stolars. Also Sam's CAREER NHL save percentage is .899 and it was worse in the AHL. Montreal is overrated. That said, getting Dobson was big.
30 seconds in and these 3 have zero idea about montreals goaltending??
Laine has been put on a fourth-ish line, they gave up the idea of demidov/dach/laine after trying it couple of games in preseason and it was bad. Laine will still have his time on pp.
The second line is now demidov – Kapanen – newhook, but I could see it becoming either demidov – dach – bolduc or demidov – Kapanen – bolduc. (kapanen a rookie center they play well defensively and shown some good offensive sequences with demidov on preseason).
To be fair… You can't expect leafs fans to really know anything about the Habs lol
