He's made the decision to do whatever it takes to win. I don't know why that's so shocking to everyone because this is Connor McDavid. You just don't get to that level of expertise without being equally intelligent and driven. He will do whatever it takes and he will get his worth in the next contract when he has the cup to prove his worth. All of this makes perfect sense to me.
This world (or some people in it) have gone too far with pro sports contracts, ALL of it…from amounts/years/this/that/I can just imagine how technical it all is. He will go play 2 great years now and either resign if Oilers win it all (they wont) or sign with another team/s and make $20 million a year or so—what a joke, GREAT for him but still a joke for sports players to make this much….AT least he is a good guy and not like most pros some greedy greedy bstard –haha as if any pro athlete or teams go hungry when us fans keep paying 'whatever' for ticket prices and parking and food and souvenirs—PS cant see Oilers beating 4 or so teams for sure—Canucks/Stars/Vegas/Florida/Capitals–to name a few
