The Avs have no depth, so it should be easy to put Brindley in.
This won’t be popular but I just don’t trust nichushkin. I think as he goes , so the avalanche go in the playoffs. And so I don’t see us getting a cup until he is gone . I am totally jaded by that guy sorry . Trust me this message has no bearing on reality and is meaningless . I am one humble opinion
I was completely surprised by this camp. I came into it thinking that now that we had Olofsson, we really just needed a 3/4C, and maybe another winger as an option alongside Kivi/Kelly/Colton for injury insurance. But now Drury is showing 3C talent, Bardy is showing 4C potential, and Brindley wants his name on a cup first year in the league, this is a complete 180 from where I thought we were.
We need a glove dropper. Anytime Nate or Gabe do it I see my fan-life flash before my eyes.
Wish they’d claimed Sammy Blais instead.
I want them to give Brindley the first 3 to 5 games as a reward for playing so well. Then send him down after, unless he absolutely pops off and shows them they can't send him down
22:45 Dermy got hurt by Lucic & then avoided fighting & physicality for a long, long time afterwards. I think this was a big reason COL moved him.
maybe im missing something about middleton but i just don't get the hype. dude is big but he almost never uses his size and isn't a great fighter, also his offensive/pucks skills are average at best.
obviously he would skate circles around me but i don't think he really moves the needle at the nhl level
Send Keaton Middleton down, but NOBODY pays attention to how AWFUL Sam Girard STILL IS! In this clip (https://youtu.be/Qm3Z9fSp5V4?si=jAjwqqIta6fdc39C&t=554) we see Girard once AGAIN PLAYING NO DEFENSE and allow Dallas to score the game winner. This is how Girard plays they game. He's soft, weak, uninterested in defending (in playoffs, preseason, reg season doesn't matter). GET THIS MUNCHKIN OFF THE TEAM!!! 17:00 You're right Zach. Playoffs are won with tough, big defenders (see Florida, TB, Avs after rd2 in '22, Vegas). Not scronny shrimps who can't defend. I hope that Ilya Solovyov can become the Girard replacement so the Avs can get past round 2 again come April. SIT GIRARD!!
If Brindley doesn't start third line, he needs to be sent down to get minutes with the Eagles. Will do him little good to play out of place on the 4th line in limited minutes.

34:18 Zach is yapping. If a healthy Avs team couldn’t beat Dallas last year without Heiskanen and Robertson, what makes him think they will dominate them in 5 games now? This matchup goes 6 or 7 every time baring serious injuries to one side. It’s a WCF type matchup bc both teams are really good.
