  1. Burns and Girard would work just fine for the regular season. I wouldn't feel great about that going in to a post season run but I'd also be stunned if they don't try to upgrade the defense at the deadline with a bigger physical defensive defenseman anyway.

  2. And in what way are the Avs better this season than last season with their first round loss to the injury-depleted Stars?
