The BEST Goal Scorer for EVERY NHL Team

Who is the greatest goal scorer in every NHL franchise’s history? In this video, we break down each team’s all-time leading goal scorer — counting only the goals scored with that franchise, not career totals elsewhere. From original six legends to modern expansion stars, we look at how these players became the benchmark for goal scoring on their teams, the eras they defined, and the moments that made them unforgettable.

We’ll cover context (draft position, key seasons, Cup runs, awards), explain any franchise lineage (Nordiques → Avalanche, North Stars → Stars, Jets 1.0 → Coyotes, Thrashers → Jets 2.0), and highlight signature goals and records. Whether you’re here for Ovechkin’s Washington dominance, Gretzky’s Edmonton years, or the new blood in Seattle and Vegas, this is your complete tour of NHL franchise goal leaders.

  1. Liked it. About the Golden Brett, from memory, I'm almost certain his 86 goal season actually makes him 2nd all time behind Gretzky's 92 while Lemieux is 3rd with 85.
