William Karlsson scored a third-period game-winning goal for the Vegas Golden Knights against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday night. VGK looked good in a preseason game that featured primarily veterans on both rosters. Mitch Marner got a look on a line with Tomas Hertl and Brandon Saad. Competition is heating up for a couple of roster spots as training camp is down to its final days.
