Schoolboy faces Artyom Morozov in sparring session

On the Armwrestling TV channel, we saw a training session where Aleksandr “Schoolboy” Beziazykov faced several athletes. Let’s take a closer look at his work with Artyom Morozov.
Context is important: Morozov is recovering from injuries in both arms. In this video, we see him training with his left arm, which has improved significantly but is still not ready for competition. The session with Schoolboy is light sparring, focused on rehabilitation.
At the beginning, they warm up the tendons and practice isometric movements to activate the arm.
Once strapped up, Schoolboy attacks, but Morozov holds well. Both work in the hook with strong side pressure, showing that Morozov’s defense is still solid.
In the next pull, Schoolboy applies back pressure and side pressure, but Morozov contains him without issue and takes him to the pad with ease, proving that his base strength is still there.
Later, they return to the hook in a more hard-fought pull. Finally, with sustained side pressure, Schoolboy manages to pin Morozov. Judging by his facial expression, Morozov feels pain in the lower forearm area — precisely where he was injured against Vitali Lalétin. Schoolboy looks quite exhausted after the effort. Jokingly, his brother tells him that he’s already a “University boy” for beating Morozov.
They go again. The side-pressure battle is very even. Once more, Morozov shows signs of pain on his face, and after two consecutive attacks, Schoolboy pins him again.
In summary, it’s a good sign to see Morozov back at the table, but it’s clear that the injury is still present. For Schoolboy, it’s a great test of strength to get these wins, even against a recovering Morozov.
